About

I'm Fino‑wind, a solo indie developer. I study AI at university and ship iOS apps on the side — designed, built, and supported by one person.

The name comes from a line of classical Chinese poetry: “南风知我意，吹梦到西洲” — the south wind knows my wish, and carries my dream westward. I like tools that feel like that: quiet, personal, moving you toward somewhere you actually want to go.

What I believe about software

• Small and sharp beats big and vague. Every app I ship does one thing a real person needed that week.
• Privacy is a feature, not a checkbox. Vaultbeat is end‑to‑end encrypted — the server stores ciphertext and nothing else.
• AI-native means agent-readable. Your data should be queryable by the AI you trust, over open protocols like MCP — not locked in someone's dashboard.
• Ship fast, fix honestly. I build in public and write about the mistakes too.
